Rock and Fossil day is back, come and join us for a day exploring rocks, fossils and minerals from Buckinghamshire and beyond with the experts from The Bucks Geology Group.
Found a rock you cannot identify? Bring it along and let our experts work out what it is.
Rockwatch, the UK’s nationwide geology club for children, will have lots of hands-on activities for the whole family to have a go at. Plus we will have crafts for all to enjoy including fossil making, fossil rubbing and learning activities too.
✨ Join us for an afternoon of rock and fossil fun and discovery
✨ Meet experts from the Bucks Geology Group and bring in your mystery fossils for identification
✨ Explore hands-on displays by local geologists and Rockwatch – the UK’s nationwide geology club for children
✨ Try your hand at fossil making, fossil rubbing, design your own dinosaur mask, dig for fossils in our fossil pit and even make a fossil badge to take home!
