Please aim to arrive at the museum at least 15 minutes before your workshop time.
We will email you a 'How to Find Us' sheet which inndicates the nearest drop-off point so share this with your coach driver. Please make sure you leave enough time to walk to the museum. We are around 5-10 minutes away.
We have a garden for use in dry weather. If you wish to hire an indoor lunchroom please do this at time of booking. If you book workshops all day, the cost of the lunch space will be deducted.
If you think you will be more than 10 minutes late, it is a good idea to alert our teams and let them know. Please call: 01926 331441 and we will prepare some adjustments to your sessions.
For EYFS and KS1 we ask for 1 adult to every 6 children
For KS2 we ask for 1 adult to every 8 children
For KS3+ we ask for 1 adult to every 10 students
These adults will be free of charge
For adults above the ratio, please book in as an additional pupil place
We will send out guidance for teacher risk assessment but we encourage you to book a pre-visit to inform your own risk asssessment. To book, please email:

Absolutely! Shop visits are best conducted in small groups at the end of your day with us (please allow additional time for this before your departure) but you may be able to fit visits into lunch breaks also.
Yes, we do! Please order at the time of booking and we will get your souvenirs ready for you to take with you on your visit.

Our school workshops are exempt from VAT.
VAT is included in our goody bag costs.
Yes, but teachers are responsible for First Aid of pupils in their care, as well as general pupil health and safety.
Visitors in wheelchairs can access all floors by lift. However, we are only able to accommodate one wheelchair user at any one time.
Teachers and pupils will be led towards the fire assembly point at the back of our museum garden where you will need to take the register and alert museum staff of any missing persons.
