Help the BFG create some wundercrump new dreams with this creative workshop for home educating families.

We’ll be exploring the museum to gather inspiration from our wonderful collection, before inventing our very own dreams and then creating magical dream bottles to store them in. What will you come up with?

This workshop will begin with a short, optional discussion about Roald Dahl’s life, works and inspiration: if you wish to take part in this portion of the workshop, please arrive for 11.00am.

This workshop is recommended for children aged 5+ but all ages are welcome.

Please note: parents are required to remain in attendance throughout this activity.

Learn all about how Christmas traditions from the past in this special workshop for home educating families!

What did the Romans celebrate in December? Would you have liked to go mumming? Which historical Christmas treat had a whole song dedicated to it? Learn the answers to all these questions and more, try out some traditional Christmas crafts and try out some traditional Christmas games.
