Home Education Day: Eggcellent Science (Wednesday 24 March 2027))
Can an egg support the weight of a whole person? How do you make an egg bounce? How can an egg survive being catapulted? Join us to explore the wonderful world of science with egg-themed experiments.
This is a taught session: our learning team will be taking the whole group through the steps together.
Please note: parents are required to remain in attendance throughout this activity. This activity uses real eggs: please inform staff of any allergies.
£7 per child, accompanying adults and under 3s free
Timings: 10.30-11.30
12.30-1.30
Suitable for ages 5-11. Old clothes recommended due to the potential for mess!
The Roald Dahl Children's Gallery will be open between 11-12 and 1-2 on this day. Tickets to the Dahl cost £5.00 per child and are available from the reception desk on the day.
