A special twice monthly session for Under 5’s and their parents / carers to enjoy at the museum. Join us for a themed session including a story, song, games, play, craft activity and museum trail, usually on the second and on the last Thursday every month.

The sessions all start at 10am for 2 hours of fun! Price includes a drink and snack for children.

In May - A fun music themed play session for under 5s based on the book Happy Hedgehog Band. Have fun making a spinning drum, playing with musical instruments and taking part in our musical trail.

In June - A fun picnics and parties themed play session for under 5s based on the book Pass the Jam Jim. Have fun making card donuts on a stick, playing with sand and water trays and taking part in our finger food trail.

In July - A fun pirates themed play session for under 5s based on the book Pirates Ahoy! Have fun making spyglasses and treasure map, searching for buried treasure and taking part in our pirate trail.

Pop into our weekly Wednesday Stay & Play Café for a safe play space for under 5s, free tea and coffee and a chance to meet other parents and carers.

Timings: 10am – 12pm every Wednesday (from 1 May) Term Time only.
